Théo was born in 1959 and lives in Zeebrugge, self-taught 100%. Through his passion for fine welding, he was introduced to the metal art industry through a friend. A new world opened up for him where he could fully develop himself. He now makes mostly sculptures from stainless steel, in combination with iron and bronze. He looks for, collects and selects old pieces of metal. Then these puzzle pieces are fitted and welded together until he is finally satisfied with the result. In putting a certain emotion into the faces, his creativity comes to full bloom. A very time-consuming process but nevertheless a challenge that gives him great satisfaction. Thus, each sculpture gets his or her characteristic look which makes the works unique.
